In the world of modern art, the name of Alexander Koleszar will definitely pop up because he is one of the most well known modern artists in the United States of America. He is known for his modern works that are quite different when it comes to the eyes of viewers. If one would want to know more about this person, here is a little bit of information about him.

Now this man grew up in Michigan which is somewhat outside of Detroit. He grew up in a town wherein the men were big and rough which was quite a tough environment for an introvert like him to grow up in. As he was an artist and an introvert, he was often ridiculed because his peers did not see him as a man.

Even though he had quite a sad childhood, he used that set of strong emotions to pursue his career in painting. At the age of fourteen, he was able to make around thirteen artworks wherein some were actually showcased in his school. Three of them were even hung up in the city hall as they were amazingly attractive.

When he reached the age of twenty two, he decided to move away from his hometown and into the state of Phoenix, Arizona. There, he discovered his sexuality and eventually came out of the closet which confirmed him to be a homosexual. After he had finished his first art degree, he decided to take up another one in geosciences.

Now he was well known for four sets of paintings that he made which became quite known in the art world. One of that was the Portrait set which was a set of self portraits of different people. What makes this set very attractive is that it is painted in such a way that the people in it look very real yet not.

Another set which was named Addiction and Recovery was one of the sets created when he was going through depression in his life. This set concentrated on surrealism and showed all kinds of images that depicted things that were evidently not of this world. His imagination in this set is what made it quite known.

There was also another set that was known as Life on Lifes Terms which had a lot of abstract paintings in it. Of course his style is very evident in this set as the abstract art looked a little bit cartoon like with a touch of realism. Of course he also had paintings in there of still life like flowers and bread and of course his favorite type which is surrealism.

The last set of Alexander Koleszar, which was named, Just My Opinion, concentrated on the painting of scenery. What makes this different from the other sets is that majority of the paintings here depicted naked men in them along with the scenery. This is where he was expressing his own opinion about life itself and how the society tries to control the people that are living in it telling them how they should act and such.
