Tips For Your Trip To NYC

Lights, Stamford, action! You are on your way to one of the biggest cities in the world, famous for its diverse people, food, and entertainment. Also slightly infamous for being "the city that never sleeps," which may not be exactly how you would like to spend your vacation. We have the tips you need to not just see the "must-sees" of New York City, but to also relax and enjoy your stay.

First up is New York City, NY. The Big Apple has been a central hub for all things business and culture for so long that it couldn't help but become a living museum of both. If you find yourself trying to take a bite out of this apple though, there are a few places where you'll get the greatest taste with every attempt. Check them out.

There is no end to the amount of television, movie and musical references we could say to remind you just how famous and important Broadway is in New York City life and culture. But more importantly, as my father once said, "You can't NOT go see a musical on Broadway when you're in New York." Tickets are available online, at the location, or in a raffle in front of each musical's individual theater. Depending on the time of year and the musical you are trying to see, raffles can be an easy way to win tickets at a highly discounted rate.

Also be sure to hit up Central Park, the Museum of Modern Art, Fashion Institute of Technology Museum, and take a stroll along Brooklyn Bridge at dusk. There's enough there to keep you busy ever second of the day if you'd like it to.

Services and attractions in Fairfield County are directly geared towards this connection to New York State. One such attraction that many people find enjoyable is the Bridgeport to Port Jefferson, NY, Ferry.

Accommodations

After a long day of bike riding and musical-seeing, you will want to get a good night's rest. It is recommended to stay outside of the city itself for a quieter and safer environment. Hotel Zero Degrees in Stamford, Connecticut is the Boutique Hotel that you have been looking for. As well as being one of Stamford's Newest Hotels, it is one of Stamford's Best Hotels. If you visit their website, you will notice that Hotel Zero Degrees offers a New York City package deal including overnight accommodations for two, complimentary breakfast, roundtrip tickets to Grand Central Station, as well a free shuttle services.

Third and finally is Stamford, CT. Located on the south-west corner of Connecticut, it makes for a nice bridge between the two previous cities. It is close enough to allow you easy access to the big apple (especially considering the high traffic levels in the area), and allows you to escape the busy city for a peaceful night's rest in a boutique hotel in Stamford.

From the hotel package deal transportation is available to Grand Central Station in New York City. From there, transportation such as taxis or subways can take you anywhere from Time's Square to the airport. It is recommended to buy a Metro card to use during your stay as it would be more expensive to buy individual tickets every time you take it. Do not forget to never bend it or it will be void.

On top of that, the boutique hotel in Stamford has easy access to all of your normal accommodations you would expect. Consider dropping by Stamford when you hit the east coast for beauty, easy access to the Big Apple, and relaxation.
